About the Lab

Professional Denim Fit Engineering

A research laboratory specializing in the geometry of denim fit, with a focus on Levi's 501 Shrink-To-Fit. We combine computer vision, 3D body mapping, and predictive modeling to deliver actionable fit intelligence.

Our mission

Fit uncertainty is one of the biggest barriers to buying denim online. We built this lab to remove that barrier through rigorous, reproducible geometry analysis. Our work focuses on the Levi's 501 Shrink-To-Fit silhouette — one of the most iconic and variable fits in the denim market.

The lab operates as a technical resource for consumers, brands, and fit professionals. We provide fit reports, shrinkage predictions, and geometry standards that help people make better denim decisions.

Every output is designed to be clear, actionable, and grounded in measured data — not opinion or guesswork.

What We Do

Technical capabilities

📐
Body Geometry Analysis
We measure projection depth, curvature radius, lateral arc angle, and waist-seat differential from normalized inputs.
🔬
Shrinkage Prediction
Using fabric-specific coefficients, we predict how Levi's 501 STF raw denim will contract after washing and how that affects fit.
📊
Fit Reports
Structured JSON, HTML, and PDF reports with composite scores, confidence intervals, and size recommendations.
🏷️
Brand Consulting
Apparel teams use our geometry standards to validate patterns, predict fit behavior, and reduce return rates before production.
