Fit model profile
Fit modelling for denim cut, seat and rise. This page documents the CNF-A classification used by this lab’s own framework — a self-assessed rubric, not a credential issued by any brand.
Vicente Noriega works as a fit model for denim, focused on rear-seat geometry: how a cut projects, where strain concentrates across the seat and pocket, and how fabric behaviour changes through the shrink-to-fit cycle.
The work is observational and measurement-led. Outputs are garment measurements, fit notes, and modelled indices — not clinical or anthropometric certification.
Fittings, cut review, and campaign fit work. Available for independent engagements. Brand names are referenced only where a specific garment is being discussed, descriptively.
CNF-A is the top band of this lab’s five-band rubric. It is a self-classification against published criteria — the same way a workshop grades its own output. It is not a certification, licence, or endorsement.
| Index | Definition | CNF-A band | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| UC | Upper curvature continuity | ≥ 0.95 | SELF-ASSESSED |
| LC | Lower curvature continuity | ≥ 0.90 | SELF-ASSESSED |
| CCF | Curvature continuity factor | ≥ 0.96 | SELF-ASSESSED |
| PDI | Pocket deformation index | ≤ 0.80 | MODELED |
| ISI | Interface strain index | ≤ 0.65 | MODELED |
A classification is only as good as its method. If you need reproducible numbers, the next step is a measured protocol with a stated sample size — not a badge.
1 — Garment measurement. Flat and on-body measurement of rise, seat depth, and pocket placement.
2 — Surface capture. Photo or scan of the seated and standing profile, used to extract contour lines.
3 — Curvature fitting. Contours fitted to a geodesic mesh; continuity computed across the seat seam.
4 — Modelled indices. PDI and ISI are simulation outputs under stated load, not direct readings.
Not a medical assessment. Not an anthropometric standard. Not a brand certification. Not a guarantee of fit for any specific garment.
